Where Was God During the Holocaust?
We are delighted to offer this class for free. But to ensure we can keep making Jewish education accessible at no charge, will you make the suggested donation of $36 (or more, if you are so moved)? Thank you for your generosity!
Many people wonder where God was during the Holocaust, a question that has puzzled believers for decades. It gained significant attention in the latter half of the 20th century and continues to be a pressing issue for those grappling with the idea of God in a world filled with suffering and evil. In this course, we will explore the writings of Elie Wiesel, Emil Fackenheim, Richard L. Rubenstein, Eliezer Berkovits, Irving “Yitz” Greenberg, and others who have delved into this profound question.
This class meets the following Mondays from 12:00-1:00 pm Pacific Time:
June 3
June 10
