Event Details
Rabbi Yitz Greenberg and Michael Berenbaum explore our relationship with God, tikkun olam, and Judaism’s vision for the future.

Join Rabbi Irving (Yitz) Greenberg in conversation with AJU’s Michael Berenbaum as they explore key themes from The Triumph of Life, Rabbi Greenberg’s magnum opus and the Natan Fund’s 2024 Natan Prize Winner. The book examines the relationship between God and humanity through Jewish history—modernity, the Holocaust, the creation of Israel, and Judaism’s next era. Together, they will discuss Judaism’s utopian vision of a world created by a God who loves life, and humanity’s mission of tikkun olam, repairing the world. Rabbi Greenberg will highlight the partnership between God and humanity that calls us to confront modern challenges like poverty, inequality, and war, ultimately advancing toward the triumph of life.
