Learn modern Hebrew online in the ulpan immersion method used in Israel.

This ten-week course is for beginning students who are new to Hebrew. The topics covered in this course include learning numbers in the feminine form from 0 to 12, telling time, verbs in the present tense, vocabulary related to the home, and practicing conversational skills in Hebrew. We will be using the textbook, Hebrew from Scratch Part 1, unit 5, lesson 1. Purchase the textbook on Amazon here.

Instructor: Alisa Lottati

Alisa Lottati has an extensive background in teaching Modern and Classical Hebrew at various levels within the Ulpan method at schools and universities. She holds an M.A. in Education and Jewish Studies from George Washington University in D.C., a B.A. in Political Science and History from Haifa University, and a teaching degree from Oranim College. Alisa has also undergone training in Hebrew at the Center courses, offered by Brandeis University and the NETA language program.
