Conversational Hebrew for Beginners: Learn Hebrew in Six Weeks
This 6-week course will get you ready for your next trip to Israel or deepen your connection with family and friends! This fun and engaging class focuses on conversational Hebrew—no reading or writing, and no prior knowledge of Hebrew needed, just practical phrases to help you shop at the Shuk, order your favorite café treats, or navigate the streets with ease. In just six weeks, you’ll build the confidence to speak Hebrew and feel more connected to Israeli culture.This course does not require a book.
Please Note: Refund requests must be submitted within two weeks from the start date of your class. Registration must be processed through a computer (laptop or desktop) only.

Mira Rosenthal is a senior lecturer in Hebrew Language and Literature. She has been teaching Hebrew at Cal State University Northridge and American Jewish University’s Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies since 1999. She received her teaching certification in 1978 from Gordon College in Haifa, Israel.
