AJU’s Rabbi Pinchas Giller and author Ezra Glinter explore the life and impact of Menachem Mendel Schneerson, the seventh and last Lubavitcher Rebbe of the Chabad-Lubavitch movement. Known for his messianic fervor and controversial leadership, Schneerson became a mystical sage, revitalizing a centuries-old Hasidic movement and building a global outreach empire. Host: Rabbi Pinchas Giller

Rabbi Pinchas Giller was ordained at Yeshiva University and received his PhD from the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley. His has written four scholarly works on Kabbalah and its central work, the Zohar. Rabbi Giller is on the faculty of the Ziegler Rabbinical School and is the head of the Jewish Studies department at the American Jewish University.
