Learn modern Hebrew online in the Ulpan immersion method used in Israel.

This 10 week course is designed for beginning students who are new to Hebrew. The topics covered in this course include learning numbers in the feminine form from 0 to 12, telling time, verbs in the present tense, vocabulary related to the home, and practicing conversational skills in Hebrew. To support your learning, we will be using the textbook Hebrew From Scratch Part 1 specifically focusing on Unit 5- Lesson 1. Click HERE to purchase the required book for this course.

Instructor: Roman Shnaider

Roman Shnaider currently teaches Modern Hebrew at De Toledo High School and Ofek Learning Hub for several years. He holds a master’s degree in teaching Hebrew as a second language from Middlebury College, Vermont, where he is currently enrolled in the Doctoral program. He has a bachelor’s degree and a Teacher’s Credential in History, and his first master’s degree is in Educational Counseling (with honors) from Bar– Ilan University.
