Learn modern Hebrew online in the Ulpan immersion method used in Israel.

This 10-week course is for beginning students who are new to Hebrew. Topics include vocabulary about the house and the apartment,shoping and meeting with acquaintances as well as adjectives, masculine cardinal numbers from 1 to 10, prepositions, and days of the week. We will be using the textbook, Hebrew from Scratch Part 1, lessons 2-5. If you haven’t purchased the textbook yet, you can find it on Amazon HERE.

This class meets on Sundays from 12:30pm – 2:30pm PT:

Instructor: Alisa Lottati

Alisa Lottati has an extensive background in teaching Modern and Classical Hebrew at various levels within the Ulpan method at schools and universities. She holds an M.A. in Education and Jewish Studies from George Washington University in D.C., a B.A. in Political Science and History from Haifa University, and a teaching degree from Oranim College. Alisa has also undergone training in Hebrew at the Center courses, offered by Brandeis University and the NETA language program.
