Learn modern Hebrew online in the Ulpan immersion method used in Israel.

This 10-week course is for beginning students who are new to Hebrew. Topics include vocabulary about the house and the apartment,shopping and meeting with acquaintances, adjectives, masculine cardinal numbers from 1 to 10, prepositions, and days of the week. We will be using the textbook, Hebrew from Scratch Part 1, lessons 2-5. If you haven’t purchased the textbook yet, you can find it HERE.

Instructor: Roman Shnaider

Roman Shnaider currently teaches Modern Hebrew at De Toledo High School and Ofek Learning Hub for several years. He holds a master’s degree in teaching Hebrew as a second language from Middlebury College, Vermont, where he is currently enrolled in the Doctoral program. He has a bachelor’s degree and a Teacher’s Credential in History, and his first master’s degree is in Educational Counseling (with honors) from Bar– Ilan University.
