Learn modern Hebrew online in the ulpan immersion method used in Israel.

This 10-week course is for intermediate Hebrew speakers who aim to enhance their conversational skills and review the five groups of verbs in both the present and past tense. Additionally, we will delve into understanding the history of Hannah Senesh and Eliezer Ben Yehuda, and other relevant topics. We will be using the textbook, Hebrew from Scratch Part 1, focusing on lessons 28-Pesek Zman Vav and preparing for advanced class. Click HERE to purchase your book on Amazon. Instructor: Aliza Klainman

Aliza Klainman is the Director of the Community Hebrew Program for the Whizin Center of Continuing Education and an instructor at American Jewish University. Aliza brings to the program her excellent organizational skills as well as years of experience teaching adults in the Ulpan method of Israel, teaching Hebrew with Hebrew. She completed her education in Israel and received her teaching credentials from the Ministry of Education, Israel and the Teachers Seminar Institute in Beer Sheva.
