Learn modern Hebrew online in the ulpan immersion method used in Israel.

This 10- week course is designed for intermediate Hebrew speakers who aim to enhance their conversational skills and review the five groups of verbs in both the present and past tense focusing on the Pe’el and Hifil group verbs. Additionally, we will delve into understanding street signs and other relevant topics. To support your learning, we will be using the textbook, Hebrew from Scratch Part 1, specifically focusing on lessons Pesek Zman Hay -Lesson 27. Purchase the textbook on Amazon here.

Mira Rosenthal is a senior lecturer in Hebrew Language and Literature. She has been teaching Hebrew at Cal State University Northridge and American Jewish University’s Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies since 1999. She received her teaching certification in 1978 from Gordon College in Haifa, Israel.
