Prayer Book Hebrew Crash Course
This course is specifically designed for individuals with no prior knowledge of Hebrew. Over the span of four 2-hour sessions, you will learn how to read print letters with vowels. We will be using the book “A Reading and Prayer Primer” as our primary resource for this course. To purchase the hard copy on Amazon click HERE. To obtain the digital copy of the book, please send an email to hebrew@aju.edu requesting the $20 digital copy. This course will provide you with the necessary foundation to begin reading Hebrew texts and engage in Hebrew prayer. Please note: Any refunds must be issued at the end of the first day of class.
This class runs every Monday from 11/27/23-12/18/23 from 5:00pm-7:00pm PDT
Dina Dvir currently teaches Hebrew here at the American Jewish University and at the Jewish Day School as well. She received her academic degrees from the Jerusalem Hebrew University and the Ministry of Education in Israel. Her work has been recognized with honor both here in the United States and Israel.
