Explore the rabbinic roots of the Passover seder through tradition and Jewish text with AJU’s Rabbi Gail Labovitz.

This 4-session class meets on Tuesdays March 11 – April 1, 2025

The Passover seder is one of the most widely celebrated Jewish traditions today, connecting us to our ancient roots. Its origins trace back to the rabbinic period and the foundational text of the Mishnah. At the heart of the seder is the Haggadah – “the telling” – guiding us through the story of slavery, redemption, and so much more. In this class, we’ll dive into the rabbinic origins of key seder traditions like the four cups of wine, the four questions, and the four children. Join us for four engaging sessions of learning to bring new depth and meaning to your Passover experience!
