Explore the history and development of religious Zionism, including key ideas from Rav Kook and the principles of Christian Zionism.

In this four-part class with Rabbi Mark Goodman, we will explore the history of religious Zionism and look at its development over time. We will discuss ideas from Rav Kook and others who defined the movement while also delving into the basic tenets of Christian Zionism which have informed the beliefs of evangelical Christians since their Christian restorationism of the late 19th century.

Instructor: Rabbi Mark Goodman

Rabbi Mark Goodman is the rabbi and cantor of Valley Beth Israel, where he has served since 2000. He teaches adult education at the Whizin Center for Continuing Education at AJU. He is currently working on his Doctorate in Jewish Studies.
